Nissha Music Studio is a music distribution platform that offers a stage for young artists active globally to express themselves.
The first release, titled YOYOKA’s Music Journey, features the internationally acclaimed 15-year-old drummer YOYOKA, in a session with the instrumental band jizue and solo singer CHIHIROPE. This unique collaboration was made possible through Nissha Music Studio, bringing out the best in each artist.

Vol.1 YOYOKA’s Music Journey
The first featured artist for Nissha Music Studio is the internationally acclaimed drummer YOYOKA, who gained global recognition at just 15- year-old. She began playing drums at the age of one and a half and started performing live when she was four. YOYOKA has been honored in Newsweek Japan’s lists of “100 Japanese Respected by the World” and “20 Japanese Who Challenge the World,” and she is also ranked among the world’s top 500 drummers on the global drumming website “Drummerworld.” Additionally, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Cyndi Lauper and Fall Out Boy. In 2024, YOYOKA released her first album For Teen, from which she performed three tracks for this project.
One of the core missions of Nissha Music Studio is to create opportunities for artistic encounters. This time, we have brought together YOYOKA and two remarkable artists for their very first collaboration.
Joining YOYOKA in this session is jizue, an instrumental band renowned for their exceptional musical talent. Based in Kyoto, they have gained widespread popularity and have performed at major music festivals in Japan such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, GREENROOM FESTIVAL, and ASAGIRI JAM. Their reach extends beyond Japan, with performances in Canada, Indonesia, China, and Taiwan. They have contributed to TV drama soundtracks, showcasing their wide-ranging talents.
Also featured in this session is CHIHIROPE, a solo vocalist best known as the lead singer of JiLL-Decoy association, a band formed in 2002 that made its major debut in 2006. In 2013, their album JiLL-Decoy 5 received the Excellence Album Award at the 55th Japan Record Awards. In 2024, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, marking a new chapter for CHIHIROPE as a solo singer. Her signature smoky voice and amazing live performances have earned her a loyal fanbase.

In 2022, YOYOKA moved from Hokkaido, Japan to the United States with her family of four, and has continued to chase her dreams while overcoming numerous challenges.
